We make the work we're excited about. We do this by gathering teams of curious people, and involving them in the process from the beginning. We encourage those we work with to ask a lot of questions on stage and in their communities. We make new work. We do what we like.

Fiona Sauder is an Ottawa born actor, director, writer, and composer who has worked throughout Ontario and internationally. She has had the pleasure of collaborating with such companies as Canadian Stage, Driftwood Theatre, The Blyth Festival, Nightwood Theatre, YES Theatre and Theatre Gargantua. Fiona is a Dora Award winning performer and creator, and recipient of the Timshell Challenge Award for Excellence and the Jon Bannerman Scholarship for Theatre. She is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and the proud Co-Artistic Director of Bad Hats Theatre.

Nicola is a London born theatre creator/performer and the Co-Artistic Director of Bad Hats Theatre. Her writing has been workshopped and performed in Toronto, British Columbia, New York City, Australia and New Zealand. Nicola's most recent stage credits include Good Old Neon's Blue Remembered Hills and Jewel Weed Theatre Company's Apple Butter.

Born and raised in the Prairies, Matt Pilipiak is a Toronto based actor, theatre producer and pizza aficionado. Matt is best known for his work in Pea Green Theatre’s Three Men in A Boat, which received a Dora Mavor Moore nomination for Outstanding Ensemble. Other favourite credits include Boys Girls and Other Mythological Creatures (Carousel Players), Finishing The Suit (Bear & Co), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Humber River Shakespeare) and The Wedding Singer (Hart House Theatre). Matt is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and a Co-Artistic Producer for Bad Hats Theatre. *tongue pop*

Co-Artistic Producer of Bad Hats Theatre, Victor is an actor, theatre-creator, and music-man. He has entertained audiences on stages ranging from parks to museums, from stone amphitheaters to the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai, India. He is best known to Toronto audiences for his work in Pea Green Theatre's critically-acclaimed Three Men in a Boat, which continues touring after four consecutive years. Recent credits: Clique Claque (Pea Green), Romeo and Juliet Chainsaw Massacre (Bain & Bernard), Munsch Mash, The Princess Knight (Solar Stage), Gorboduc (Shakespeare BASH’d), Out of the Lens (Theatre 20/Musical Works). He also plays piano and a slew of other instruments, mostly for fun. Victor shares Dora Mavor Moore awards with the Ensemble and Production of Bad Hats’ Peter Pan.
Ariana Sauder is a visual artist and designer based out of Montreal, Canada. Born in Ottawa she graduated from Concordia University with a BFA in Studio Art. She continues her creative practice in painting, drawing, dressmaking and graphic design out of her Mile End space Strange Sky Studio. Check out her work here.
Lauren Vandervoort is an arts administrator & producer, with a focus on marketing & communications. She has a business education & a passion for helping artists with 'that side of things'. Some favourite recent projects include Erin Shields' Beautiful Man (Groundwater Productions), Cara Spooner's invitations/into/traces, and of course the Peter Pan Brewery Tour. She is Tarragon Theatre's Marketing Director (although is currently residing in baby land with her new daughter, Lola) and also works with Public Recordings Performance Projects and the anti-bullying organization The Get REAL Movement.
