OUR MANDATE:

With an emphasis on programming for young people and families, our mandate centres new theatrical works and adaptations that empower multi-generational audiences to access the curiosity and intuition of their childhood. 

We want to create work that audiences feel a part of, art that they can recreate in their living rooms, stories that they can see themselves in at any age. We do this by employing minimalist designs and multidisciplinary artists, recreating the divine, specific chaos of childhood - when anything could be anything if you believed in it. We fill our productions with musicality, physicality, and highly stylized ensemble work, asking audiences to believe alongside us, to colour in the invisible parts of the miraculous worlds our stories inhabit, creating space for collective imagination among any given audience, at any given age. 

Bringing adults and children together to co-experience our work creates community. We want young people who view our work to be inspired to keep imagining, and let these imaginative capabilities inspire our adult patrons to redesign the world their children are inheriting. We don't endeavour to educate young people, but rather to unlock their worldview and invite audiences to play within it, opening the door to noticing the extraordinary within the ordinary.
