Amaka Umeh as The Witch

The Toronto premiere of this new musical adaptation draws inspiration from The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and C.S. Lewis’ broader chronicles of Narnia. In a co-productions with Soulpepper Theatre and Crows Theatre, Narnia is a story about the changing seasons of our lives, found families, and how we learn to say goodbye.

Belinda Corpuz is a Dora and BroadwayWorld award-winning actor, singer, musician, composer, theatre creator, producer and arts educator, born in Manila, Philippines, raised in Scarborough, ON, and based in Toronto, ON. She has played various festivals and notable venues including Massey Hall, the Rex Hotel, Harbourfront Toronto’s Music Garden, the Toronto Jazz Festival, and Sofar Sounds Toronto and Waterloo. OTHER CREDITS: Belinda is a founding member of award-winning all Filipina sisterhood, Tita Collective. She was featured in ACTRA’s inaugural Asian Performer Showcase. As an actor she has workshopped new pieces with various companies in Toronto including Soulpepper, Crows, Factory Theatre, Nightwood, Cahoots, fu-GEN, and the Toronto International Film Festival's Writers' Studio. She is the Communications and Development Coordinator at Bad Dog Theatre. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Belinda is a graduate of the the University of Toronto-Faculty of Music (BMus in Performance - Jazz Voice) and the Soulpepper Academy. James Daly is an award-winning Canadian Actor. Recent theatre credits include; Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (Menier Chocolate Factory, in London & New World Stages, off Broadway), La Cage aux Folles, Wendy and Peter Pan (Stratford Festival), Damn Yankees, Grand Hotel, Oh What A Lovely War (The Shaw Festival), Mythic (The Segal Centre), Cabaret (The Grand Theatre), Master Harold... and the boys (The Shaw Festival/Obsidian Theatre). On-camera credits include: Crave's hit comedy series Letterkenny, CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries, Netflix’s Workin’ Moms and CBC’s, Frankie Drake. Landon Doak (they/them) is a Dora award-winning actor and composer. Throughout their career, they have been fortunate enough to work with the Stratford Festival, The Blyth Festival, The Shaw Festival, Canadian Stage, Soulpepper, Factory Theatre, Musical Stage, and featured in the DC Superhero film, Shazam! and in Murdoch Mysteries. They are the Artistic Associate of Bad Hats Theatre, and their composition work for Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and Life in a Box have all received Dora awards and nominations. They would like to thank their parents, the Bad Hats, and the Talent House for their ongoing support.

SIERRA HAYNES (she/her) is an emerging, multiple Dora Mavor Moore Award winning, multi-disciplinary artist from Treaty 4 (Regina, SK), now establishing herself in Toronto, ON. Working primarily in theatre across the country, some of her recent credits include: BAD HATS PETER PAN (Globe Theatre); directing & devising THE RAFT (Studio 58); MISS CALEDONIA as Peggy Ann Douglas and music director (Globe Theatre); A TONIC FOR DESPERATE TIMES (Theatre Gargantua); THE DROWNING GIRLS as Asst. Director and Composer/Sound Designer (Guild Festival Theatre). She recently released a podcast commissioned by the Globe Theatre, STAGE WRITE: The Playwright’s Podcast, where she facilitated conversations between some of Canada’s most exciting playwrights in discussion about their craft. She was the Apprentice Dramaturg at the Banff Centre’s 2024 Playwrights Lab. Sierra has been the 2025 dramaturgy and producing intern through the Metcalf Foundation with Nightswimming Sierra is a series writer on AMI-tv network’s award-nominated scripted comedy series, THE SQUEAKY WHEEL: CANADA. Sierra is a proud graduate of Studio 58.

Born and raised in the Prairies, Matt Pilipiak is a Toronto based actor, dramaturg, and theatre producer.  Matt is best known onstage for his work in Bad Hats’ Dora Award-winning Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland (Dora Winners for Outstanding Production), as well as Pea Green Theatre’s Dora Award-nominated Three Men in A Boat (Outstanding Ensemble), and smash-hit sequel, Three Men on a Bike. Other favourite credits include Every Brilliant Thing, Bed And Breakfast (Orillia Opera House), Murder for Two (Globus Theatre), Boys Girls and Other Mythological Creatures (Carousel Players), Finishing The Suit (Bear & Co), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Humber River Shakespeare). He has worked as dramaturg on Bad Hats’ Princess Frownsalot and provided dramaturgical support for Peter Pan. Matt has also independently produced for many Toronto companies, championing large-scale and genre new works. Matt is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and the Managing & Artistic Producer for Bad Hats Theatre.

Jonathan Tan is an avid home cook and balcony gardener who enjoys dabbling in theatre, music, and silly voices in his spare time. to its final performance on Broadway. She was nominated for both a Helen Hayes

(Washington, DC) and a Dora (Toronto) for her work as Beulah & others. For the last

three summers she has taken on the role of Diane in an all new staging of COME FROM

AWAY where it all began - Gander, NFLD! Astrid has played Mattie Fae in AUGUST:

OSAGE COUNTY in St. Louis; Harriet in POTUS in Montreal; Margo in DRIVE in St.

John’s and Bobby in THE CURVY WIDOW in Sag Harbor. Other theatre credits include

originating leads in: LES BELLES SOEURS: The Musical (Segal/Montreal & National

Arts Centre/Ottawa); BAAL- A ROCK 'N ROLL PLAY (Mercury/Buddies) and THE
